In-app SonosNet setting

SonosNet is a Sonos proprietary wireless mesh network that enables Sonos products to communicate with each other over a dedicated wireless channel, separate from your home WiFi network.

The In-app SonosNet setting gives you direct control over whether SonosNet is enabled or disabled on your system. This setting applies system-wide to all products in your home. Sonos systems default to having SonosNet enabled.


Disable SonosNet

Use the following steps to disable SonosNet on your system.

  1. Open the Sonos app.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Network > SonosNet, select Disable SonosNet.
  3. Follow the in-app steps to complete the process.

Enable SonosNet

Use the following steps to enable SonosNet on your system.

  1. Open the Sonos app.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Network > SonosNet, select Enable SonosNet.
  3. Follow the in-app steps to complete the process.
