Update your Sonos Ace

This article goes over how to update your Sonos Ace to the latest software version using the Sonos app for iOS or Android.

To go through the update process, your Sonos Ace must be set up in the Sonos app and connected to your iOS or Android device via Bluetooth.

Check for updates

1. Go to the Settings menu and select your Sonos Ace under the Headphones section.
2. In the About section, select Software Updates.
3. Select Check for Updates.

If an update is available, the app will guide you through Sonos Ace’s update process.

While the update is in progress, keep Sonos Ace near your iOS or Android device to prevent any interruptions. The status light on Sonos Ace will blink orange and white while updating, then revert back to solid blue when the update is complete.
