Enable or disable the status light

The status light is turned on by default for most Sonos products and can be toggled on or off using the Sonos app. The light will still turn on in certain scenarios such as when the product is updating or when the volume is muted.

Sonos app for iOS or Android

1. Go to the Settings menu.
2. Under Your System, select the name of the room you’d like to modify.
3. Under Hardware, toggle Status Light on or off.

Sonos S1 Controller app for iOS or Android

1. From the Settings tab, select System.
2. Under Products, select the name of the room you’d like to modify.
3. Under Hardware, toggle the Status Light on or off.
