Reboot Sonos products
This article provides steps to reboot your Sonos products.
Sonos Move, Move 2, Play
- Remove the product off of the charging base.
- Hold the Power button for at least 5 seconds, or until the status light turns off.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Press the Power button or place the product back onto its charging base.
Sonos Roam, Roam SL, and Roam 2
Standard reboot
- Disconnect the product from charging cables and remove it from wireless chargers.
- Hold the power button on the back of the product for at least five seconds until you hear the power-off tone and the light above the Sonos logo turns off.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Press the power button on the back of the product to turn it back on.
Force reboot
If your Roam product appears to be stuck or frozen, you can perform a force reboot by holding down the button on the back of the product for 15 seconds, or until light above the Sonos logo turns on again.
Sonos Ace and Sonos Ace Ultra
Standard reboot
- Disconnect the Sonos headphones from any USB-C cable connections.
- On the left ear cup, press and hold the Power/Bluetooth button for about 3 seconds. Sonos headphones will play a power-off tone and the status light will turn off.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Press and hold the Power/Bluetooth button for about 3 seconds to turn your Sonos headphones back on.
Force reboot
If your Sonos headphones appear to be stuck or frozen, you can perform a force reboot by holding down the power button for roughly 15 seconds.
All other Sonos speakers and components
- Unplug the power cord.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and allow one minute for the product to boot up.
