Change the Amazon Alexa language

You can use the Sonos app to change the Alexa language for any of your voice-enabled Sonos speakers. The language can be changed to any of Alexa’s supported languages on Sonos.

Sonos app for iOS or Android

1. Go to the Settings menu, and select the room with Amazon Alexa added to it.
2. Under Voice, select Amazon Alexa.
3. Under Voice Settings, select Voice Language, then choose your language from the list.

Sonos S1 Controller app for iOS or Android

1. From the Settings tab, select Services & Voice > Amazon Alexa.
2. Select the name of the room you’d like to modify.
3. Select Voice Language, then choose your language from the list.

You can choose a different language for each of your voice-enabled Sonos speakers that use Alexa. If you’d like to switch the language for all of your voice-enabled Sonos speakers, you’ll need to repeat the steps above for each one.
