Remove a voice assistant

This article covers how to remove a voice service like Sonos Voice Control, Amazon Alexa, or the Google Assistant from a voice-enabled Sonos product.



Sonos app for iOS or Android

  1. Go to the Settings menu.
  2. Select the Manage button next to My System.
  3. Select Voice Assistants, then choose the voice assistant that you wish to remove.
  4. Under Sonos Products, select a product that’s using the voice assistant, then select Remove.


Sonos S1 Controller app for iOS or Android

  1. From the Settings tab, select Services & Voice.
  2. Under Voice, select the voice assistant that you wish to remove.
  3. Select the Sonos product that’s using the voice assistant, then select Remove.


Note that if you’d like to completely remove a voice service from your system, you’ll need to repeat the steps above for all voice-enabled products still connected to the service.
