Check system information in About My System

This article will show you what type of information you can check for in the About My System section of the Sonos app. This includes information like your Sonos software and OS version, Sonos ID, model names of your Sonos products, and more.


iOS or Android

  1. Open the Sonos app or iOS or Android.
  2. From the  Settings tab, tap System.
  3. Tap About My System.


macOS

  1. Open the Sonos app for macOS.
  2. Click Sonos > About My Sonos System.


Windows

  1. Open the Sonos app for Windows.
  2. Click Help > About My Sonos System.

Name

Description

Sonos App Info

Version

The software version of your Sonos app.

Sonos OS

The Sonos OS version of your Sonos app. See the Sonos S2 Overview page for more information.

Build

The specific build number of the version of your Sonos app.

Sonos ID

Your unique Sonos ID number. This is often needed when participating in Sonos beta programs.

Associated Product

The IP address of the Sonos product your app is using to connect to the rest of your system.

Sonos System Info

<Product model>: <Room name>

The model name and room name.

Serial Number

The serial number of your product. Note that the first 6 pairs of characters is the MAC address of the wireless interface.

Sonos OS

The Sonos OS version. See the Sonos S2 Overview page for more information.

Version

The software version.

IP Address

The local network IP address.

WM

The Wireless Mode your product is using. See our article on wireless modes for more information.
