Wear Detection settings for Sonos Ace
Your Sonos Ace can detect when you’re wearing your headphones. Using the Sonos App, you can specify how your headphones will behave when you take them off or put them on.
Change Wear Detection settings in the Sonos app
To change Wear Detection settings, your Sonos Ace must be set up in the Sonos app and connected to your iOS or Android device.
- Go to the Settings menu and select your Sonos Ace in the Headphones section.
- Under Hardware Controls, select Wear Detection.

Wear Detection
Enable or disable Wear Detection.
Play/Pause
This setting allows your headphones to pause your audio when you take them off. Audio resumes automatically when you put your headphones back on.
Note that audio will not automatically resume if it was manually paused before taking the headphones off.
Wear to Answer
When enabled, your headphones will automatically answer incoming calls when you put them on.
