Adjust Line-In settings

This article provides information about Line-In settings and how to change them in the Sonos app. See our article on using Line-In for more information on how to set it up on your Sonos system.

Sonos app for iOS or Android

  1. Go to the Settings menu.
  2. Under My System, choose your product that has a Line-In connection.
  3. Adjust your settings under the Line-In section.

Sonos S1 Controller for iOS or Android

  1. From the Settings tab, select System.
  2. Under Products, choose your product that has a Line-In connection.
  3. Adjust your settings under the Line-In section.

You can adjust the following settings under the Line-In section of your product’s settings:

Setting

Description

Source Name

Choose a name for the Line-In device you connected to Sonos.

Source Level

Adjust the Line-In source level if you find the default Line-In volume setting is too quiet or distorted.

Audio Delay

Introduces a delay between your line-in source and Sonos. This reduces the chance of audio issues occurring when your Sonos products are playing line-in audio in a group.

Autoplay

Choose an Autoplay Room to automatically play Line-In audio when Sonos detects a signal is being sent to the Line-In port. Here you can choose to Include Grouped Rooms and set an autoplay volume level.

Autoplay is disabled by default.
