Asus RT and AX Series compatibility

Some Asus RT and AX Series routers have a known issue that prevents them from working with Sonos. If your Asus RT or AX Series router has an Airtime Fairness setting, the solution below will ensure that it will work with Sonos.

Issue

Sonos products and the Sonos app will not connect to WiFi during and after setup due to a router feature called Airtime Fairness.

Solution

1. Log into the router.
2. Navigate to Wireless > Professional.
3. Disable Airtime Fairness for both 2.4 and 5GHz bands.
