Error 1013 when updating Sonos
Error 1013 occurs when multiple Sonos apps try to initiate the update process at the same time, a firewall is blocking Sonos from updating, or the device with the Sonos app has a weak connection to your network. Below are some common steps you can take to resolve this error.
Make sure the update is started from a single device
When starting the update, make sure there are no other devices with the Sonos app trying to update at the same time.
Configure your firewall to work with Sonos
Make sure your computer’s firewall is configured to work with Sonos. See our article on configuring firewalls for more information.
Move closer to your router
Move closer to the router with the device you are using to control Sonos and then try the update again.
