Error 10 when updating Sonos

Error 10 occurs when there is an issue upgrading your Sonos system firmware.

This can happen when the Sonos S2 app tries to perform an update while the Sonos system contains a mix of products running S1 and S2 firmware. To resolve this error, check the System tab in the S2 app for any products that show as “Incompatible” and reset them to their factory settings. These products can then be set up as a separate S1 Sonos system.
