Error 36 when updating Sonos

Error 36 occurs when one or more of your Sonos products fail to complete the update process. The error screen will indicate which of your Sonos products is experiencing the error. Below is a common step you can take to resolve this error.


Reboot your Sonos products

Reboot the products specified on the error screen. Once you have rebooted those products, wait for them to reappear in the Sonos app and try the update again.
