Save the queue as a Sonos Playlist

Any queue you’ve created in the Sonos app can be saved as a Sonos Playlist. The steps below detail how to save your queues as Sonos Playlists and where to find them in the Sonos app.

Sonos app

iOS or Android

1. From the Now Playing screen, select the Queue button in the bottom-left corner.
2. Select the More button at the top-right of the queue, then select Add to Sonos Playlist.
3. On the Add to Playlist screen, select New Playlist. Give the playlist a name, then select Done.
4. Make sure your new playlist is selected on the Add to Playlist screen, then select Done.

Your current queue has now been saved as a Sonos Playlist. You can find your new Sonos Playlist on your Home screen by selecting Sonos Favorites, then Playlists.

Sonos S1 Controller app

iOS or Android

1. From the Now Playing screen, select the Queue button at the top-right.
2. Select the Save button at the bottom-right of the queue.
3. Select the name of the playlist to edit the name before saving. You can also replace an existing playlist from the list.
4. Select Save at the top-right of the screen to save the queue as a Sonos Playlist.

Your Sonos Playlists can be found in the My Sonos tab in a section labeled Playlists. Scroll to the left or right to browse through your playlists or select the Playlists title to see the full list.

macOS or Windows

1. Click the Save Queue button along the bottom of the window underneath the queue.
2. Enter a name for your playlist or pick a playlist to replace from the list.
3. Click Done.

To find your saved Sonos Playlist, find your music sources on the right, then click on Sonos Playlists towards the bottom of the list. All of your saved Sonos Playlists will show in this section.
