Error 1100 when updating the Sonos app for macOS

Error 1100 occurs when the Sonos app for macOS is unable to complete the update. Follow the steps below to resolve this error.

  1. Uninstall the Sonos app by opening the Sonos app for macOS and clicking Sonos > Uninstall.
  2. Download and reinstall the Sonos app.
  3. Open the Sonos app, click Connect to existing system, then follow the prompts to reconnect the app to your Sonos system.
  4. Click Sonos > Check for Updates to ensure the app and your Sonos system are fully up to date.
