  • You can activate Sonos Voice Control and Amazon Alexa on the same speaker. While you can’t activate Sonos Voice Control and the Google Assistant on the same speaker, you can activate the Google Assistant on a different speaker in the same system.

Add Sonos Voice Control

  1. Open the Sonos app for iOS or Android.
  2. Go to the Settings menu and select Manage next to My System.
  3. Select Voice Assistants, then Add a Voice Assistant.
  4. Select Sonos Voice Control.
  5. Follow the in-app instructions to add Sonos Voice Control to your Sonos system.

If you’d like to ask for weather-related information from Sonos Voice Control, make sure to set your default location in the Sonos app after you’ve finished setting up the voice assistant.
