Set up your Sonos Era 300

Before you start

  • Place your Era 300 in your desired location and connect it to power.
  • Download the Sonos S2 app for iOS or Android. The app will guide you through the set up process.
  • Era 300 must be set up on a WiFi network before it can be used as a Bluetooth speaker.

Set up a new Sonos system with Era 300

  1. Open the Sonos app for iOS or Android.
  2. Tap Set up a new system, then create or sign in to your Sonos account.
  3. Tap Add on the popup showing your Sonos product.
  4. Follow the steps in the app to set up your Era 300 and add your music and voice services.


Add Era 300 to your existing Sonos system

  1. Open the Sonos app for iOS or Android.
  2. From the Settings tab, tap System > Add Product.
  3. Follow the steps in the app to connect Era 300 to your Sonos system.

  • Era 300 features a USB-C port on the back which can be used with the Sonos Line-In Adapter or the Sonos Combo Adapter. Both adapters allow you to connect a 3.5mm audio cable to your Era 300 for audio Line-In. The Combo Adapter offers an Ethernet port for wiring your Era 300 to the network.
