You can edit your queue in the Sonos app to change the track order, remove tracks, or clear the queue entirely.

This feature is not currently available in the Sonos app for iOS or Android, but it will return in a future update.

As a temporary workaround, you can use the Sonos app for macOS or Windows to edit your queue.

This information applies to both the Sonos app and the S1 Controller app.

The queue is visible under the Now Playing section in the center of the window.

  • Change the track order by clicking and holding a track, then dragging it up or down in the list.
  • Remove a track by right-clicking the track or clicking the ▼ More Information button, then choosing Remove Song.
  • Clear the queue by clicking the Clear Queue button at the bottom of the window. If music is playing when you clear the queue, it will be stopped.

Sonos S1 Controller app for iOS or Android

  1. Open the Sonos S1 Controller app
  2. From the Now Playing screen, select the Queue button in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Edit.

Once editing, you can:

  • Change the track order by selecting the icon and dragging it up and down in the list.
  • Remove a track by selecting the icon next to a track and then choosing Delete.
  • Clear the queue by selecting the Clear button at the bottom of the screen. If music is playing when you clear the queue, it will be stopped.
