Trueplay-compatible devices and Sonos products

This article covers which mobile devices and Sonos products are compatible with Trueplay.

Supported mobile devices

Trueplay is available on all fully-supported iOS or iPadOS devices except the devices listed below. Trueplay is not available on Android devices or beta versions of iOS or iPadOS. If you don't have a supported device, you can borrow one from someone else to Trueplay your products. As long as your Sonos products stay in the same location, Trueplay only needs to be completed once per product.

Amp and Connect:Amp

Amp and Connect:Amp support Trueplay when powering Sonos In-Wall or In-Ceiling Architectural speakers as a standalone Sonos room. Amp and Connect:Amp also support Trueplay when powering any third-party surround speakers in a Sonos home theater setup.

Move and Roam

Sonos Move and Sonos Roam automatically tune themselves using Auto Trueplay depending on what’s playing and where they’re located. Auto Trueplay is not available on Roam SL.
