Error 501 when updating Sonos

Error 501 is often related to a Sonos Bridge having trouble completing an update.

If you have a Sonos Bridge in your system, reboot it by unplugging the power cable for ten seconds and then plugging it back in. Wait for the Bridge to reconnect to your system (the LED status light will stop blinking) then try updating again.
