Error 913 when adding a music library share
The Sonos app shows Error 913 when it tries to connect to a shared music folder using an unsupported sharing protocol. In order for Sonos to connect to a shared music folder, it must be shared using SMBv2 or SMBv3.
Error 913 when adding a macOS or Windows music folder
This error commonly occurs when you’re trying to add a music library share using the Sonos apps for macOS or Windows, specifically when choosing either the “Music folder” or “Another folder or drive connected to my computer” options. These methods of sharing a music folder are no longer supported.

Error 913 when adding a music folder on a NAS drive
If you’re adding a music library on a NAS drive, Error 913 means the NAS drive is sharing its music folder using an unsupported sharing protocol like SMBv1. To resolve this, adjust your NAS drive’s settings to share your music folder using SMBv2 or SMBv3, then try to add your music library again. Consult your NAS drive’s manual for information on how to check or change the SMB setting.
